Description

Common Name: Allosaurus
Real Name: Allosaurus
Diet: Carnivorous
Description: Allosaurus (/ˌæləˈsɔːrəs/) is a genus of carnivorous theropod dinosaur that lived 155 to 150 million years ago during the late Jurassic period (Kimmeridgian to early Tithonian). The name "Allosaurus" means "different lizard" alluding to its unique concave vertebrae (at the time of its discovery). It is derived from the Greek ἄλλος/allos ("different, other") and σαῦρος/sauros ("lizard / generic reptile"). The first fossil remains that could definitively be ascribed to this genus were described in 1877 by paleontologist Othniel Charles Marsh. As one of the first well-known theropod dinosaurs, it has long attracted attention outside of paleontological circles. Indeed, it has been a top feature in several films and documentaries about prehistoric life.
Reborn:
The scientists at Jurassic Park recreated this species successfully from well-preserved material and it was mainly pure. Of course, the product that ingen got wasn't the real thing, but it was mostly pure.

2015
Some specimens were held at the theme park, luxury resort, and zoo, "Jurassic World" but weren't for display.

2018
They were endangered in Nublar due to the ever-increasing volcanic threat but since the volcano has exploded, it's likely that the populations there have completely diminished. One juvenile individual was sold at an auction. Its whereabouts are currently unknown.

Genetic inaccuracies: pronated hands, lack of snout crests, shape of crests

Here's what concerns me about your latest dinosaur, the Allosaurus. That it's an apex predator? No. That it could bring down animals twice its size? Also no. Nope. Instead, my problem with the Allosaurus is that, unlike the T. rex, or even the Velociraptor, the Allosaurus seems... optimized. It's chaos locking in on a solution. Creating efficiencies. And that makes me nervous.
